Killzone 2 on the PS3 is also pretty good once you adjust to the controller lag. Halo Reach on the Xbox 360 is a superb game, perhaps a bit overfamiliar being the third sequel (actually a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved but you get my point), but then new ideas are not something you really see in the FPS genre anyway. Halo on PC retains all the multiplayer options from the Xbox - apart from the co-operative Story mode - and adds six hot new maps (for a total of 19), one new vehicle (the three-man missile-firing Rocket Warthog buggy) and, best of all, two brand new weapons - the flamethrower and the fuel-rod gun. IMO, the FPS genre has been getting stale for years on both consoles and PC and it is only Crysis that stands out from all the other me-too FPSs on the PC. I'm struggling to think of any other FPS game on the PC to be honest that isn't also on the consoles *and* is regarded as excellent.
